Sort the Court!
Would you be a fair and just ruler? Test your moral compass as you endeavor to do the best for your kingdom. Will you side with thieves and make deals with the devil, or try to see the good in all?
The Basics
Let’s get down to the basics. At its core, Sort-the-Court is a strategy simulation game that puts you on the throne of a budding kingdom. You’ll have to learn to go with your gut as you navigate your days as the king or queen of a fantasy kingdom. The controls for the game are simple, and making decisions requires only a mouse to answer the yes/no style questions.

A few different storylines unfold as you meet the delightful, pixel-art-based cast that resides in your kingdom. The main one that resolves the game’s ending is resolving the dispute between your fellow rulers to be inducted into the leadership council. However, you can continue playing endlessly after receiving the completion pop-up, watching your township grow.
Why Should I Play?
Why should you play Sort the Court? This fun, fantasy-themed is incredibly charming and easy for even novice players. It reminds me of the old choose-your-own-adventure text-based games, where every choice has a consequence but with cuter artwork. I only meant to play the game for a few minutes, but I easily sunk in over an hour thanks to the compelling characters and the thrill of the random chance encounters.
Do you think you can handle the pressure and rule the land? You can play Sort the Court for free on Itch.io here.
