Welcome to this week’s installment of F2P Friday, where we highlight our favorite Free-2-Play games. The video game market is oversaturated, and sometimes, hidden gems fall through the cracks. This is where we dig for you and feature a new F2P game we know you will enjoy every week. Let’s dive in.
Tiny Survivors
Skeletons and butterflies and demons, oh my. Tiny Survivors is a fun, addictive rogue-lite auto battler game from solo developer Terry Brash. Take on waves of enemies and overcome lady luck in this compact, randomized experience. Can you survive the hoard?

The Basics
Let’s get down to the basics. Tiny Survivors plays similarly to other games in the genre, but the randomization of the weapon types and properties makes it a standout. Because it is an autobattler, the gameplay is easy to understand, as you only need to navigate your avatar through the crowds of enemies.
Plays should expect multiple restarts as you overcome the randomized odds and strategize. The replayability aspect of the game is a staple of the rogue-lite and bullet-hell, but Tiny Survivors gets this right. It never feels like a chore to start again.

Why Should I Play?
Why should you play Tiny Survivors? I love how accessible this game is. Beyond its free-to-play price tag, the gameplay style allows it to be easily picked up in a short amount of time. The fantasy setting and character options are charming, and the soundscaping is decent and only a little repetitive. The randomized nature of the game makes it easy to pick up and put back down, which is great for short play sessions.
Think you have what it takes to survive? You can download Tiny Survivors for free from Steam here.
