Lady Umbrella
Uncover a web of betrayal and deceit as Lady Umbrella fights to clear her name in her own agency while taking on the ultimate Italian Mafia family. Wield your high-tech umbrella to take down Italy’s last mafia family while evading capture by your agency in this thrilling third-person action-adventure shooter.
The Basics
Let’s get down to the basics of Lady Umbrella by Zulo Interactive. Lady Umbrella is a 3D action-adventure shooter in which the player plays the role of special agent Francesca De Angelis. While infiltrating the last mafia family in Italy, Lady Umbrella is betrayed and incriminated by her partner. Now she must clear her name by defying her own agency, avoiding arrest and defeating the mafia. Should be a walk in the park, right?
This game is a throwback PlayStation 2 era action-adventure with combat and puzzle elements that make it an intriguing play. You’ll do this all with your trusty umbrella, which you can use for much more than just dancing in the rain. Your umbrella will serve as a shotgun, shield and a flotation device in cases of emergency. You’ll also rely on a multitool to help you traverse the city as you work to clear your name.

Why Should I Play?
So why should you play Lady Umbrella? This is a good game that has the makings of a great game, which is excellent news because it is still in development. The umbrella as a weapon reminded me of Kingsman, and the gameplay had me longing to play an old spy game like GoldenEye 007. The art is charming in a nostalgic way, with an interesting environment and comically stoic NPCs in the cutscenes. The soundscaping and the voice acting are also well done, but I did run into a few minor instances of sound cutting out. The few bugs I encountered during play were brief and could be solved with an easy reload. You can support this project and play Lady Umbrella on Steam for free while it is in development.
