Lo-Fi Room
Lo-Fi Room is a hidden object and rhythm game. Build lo-fi beats by finding instruments scattered across your room and playing their loops one at a time. Play through a relaxing day of music in a cozy, hand-drawn world of procedurally generated beats or craft your own.
The Basics
Let’s get down to the basics of Lo-Fi Room by the creator, Bearmask. The controls for this are easy to master and very forgiving to learn. Each stage is a stationary image and the levels progress on its own once you have completed the beat.

You can continue playing any individual instrumental part until you earn the perfect star and then the game completes that section automatically. There is no penalty for retrying the music loop or clicking around the room to find the instruments, so work on your own time. If you are having trouble getting perfect on a sequence, you can force to game to progress once you have played the beat once through completion.
Why Should I Play?
So why should you play Lo-Fi Room? This relaxing, unique blend of a hidden object and rhythm game is the perfect low-energy game. I loved playing this game after a long day and was bummed there weren’t more levels to play through. I do wish more of the objects around the room responded like the cats meowing or drawers opening, but the animation when the beat is complete is a nice touch.
I would consider this more of a demo for the longer upcoming release on Steam. Currently, three completed levels have been released, with the full game projected to contain 30 total levels. You can play the first three levels of Lo-Fi Room on Itch.io now. Be sure to wishlist it on Steam so you won’t miss the full release and enjoy jamming to the trailer below!
