Welcome to this week’s installment of F2P Friday, where we highlight our favorite Free-2-Play games. The video game market is oversaturated, and sometimes, hidden gems fall through the cracks. This is where we dig for you and feature a new F2P game we know you will enjoy every week. Let’s dive in.
Supermarket Simulator: Prologue
Good news, everyone, you can now work in your free time. Try your hand at owning and operating a supermarket with Supermarket Simulator: Prologue. You’ll stock shelves, run the cash wrap, process online orders, design and expand the store and set the prices based on the market (or greed). Be prepared to face the consequences if you fail to repay your shady loan sharks.

The Basics
Let’s get down to the basics. As the name suggests, Supermarket Simulator: Prologue by developer Nokta Games is a management simulator that will put you in the overworked shoes of a grocery store employee. The controls and gameplay are easy to pick up as you start with your daily tasks, like ordering stock using an in-game computer, unpacking goods, organizing them in your storage room and displaying them on shelves/fridges/freezers.
Why Should I Play?
Why should you play Supermarket Simulator: Prologue? While this is a limited version of what will come in the full game, it is still a great experience. The controls are fairly intuitive and easy to pick up, expanding your inventory is motivating and running the register is satisfying. There are a few elements I would like to see expanded upon, but for a free demo, it is a great starting point.
